Soap comes in an 8oz container with 4oz of soap for room to bloom your soap. The reason for this is to make the container more user friendly and allow room to load your shaving brush.
BEST WHEN BLOOMED!!!
International customers are responsible for shipping costs and any custom charges or import taxes. But it's well worth the cost to have these products shipped to you. :)
Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.
FYI: Soap lathers differently depending on your water and on the brush that you are using.
Ingredients: Distilled Water, Stearic Acid, Beef Tallow, Potassium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Mango Butter, Kokum Butter, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Fragrance, Sodium Lactate, Silk
Directions:
1. If you are using a natural hair shaving brush such as a badger, boar, or horsehair soak your brush in hot water only up the hair not the handle for at least 5 minutes before your shave. We recommend taking a shower before your shave or washing your face before you start your shave to prep your face to make sure you have softened your facial hair. If you shower before hand you can soak your brush while showering. If you are using a synthetic brush there is no need to soak it.
2. Bloom your soap while you are soaking your brush, which means to add some hot water to the top of your soap, to soften the top layer so you can get a good load onto your brush.
3. When you are ready to begin your shave empty the water from your brush and ring any excess water out so it’s just damp. Empty the water from your shave soap. You can apply some of the water to your face as a pre-shave.
4. Begin swirling your brush on your soap until you see it become pasty with soap.
5. Start your lathering either on your face or in your shave bowl in a circular motion until your lather begins to build. Add extremely small amounts of water, i.e. a couple of drops at a time, until your lather becomes wet enough but not falling apart and dissipating. When you have the right amount of water incorporated into your lather, your lather should have a sheen and be creamy and not pasty.
6. Complete two to three passes until you reach your desired results.
7. When you have completed your shave, store your container upside for at least 24 hours to allow it to dry. Also, rinse your shaving brush clean and shake out any excess water and then hang to allow to air dry for 24 hours.
8. Enjoy and shave on!! :)
