THE SCENT: DR. HARRIS AND CO. MADE AN AMAZING SCENT WHEN THEY CAME OUT WITH ARLINGTON OVER 100 YEARS AGO. THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHAVE SOAPS BASED PURELY ON SCENT. I DID NOT LIKE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SOAP IT LEFT MY SKIN DRY AND THE POST SHAVE WAS NOT PLEASANT SO I SET OUT TO MAKE MY OWN IN A VEGAN BASE SO EVERYONE COULD ENJOY THIS AMAZING SCENT PROFILE.
NOTES OF NEROLI (DERIVED FROM BITTER ORANGE TREE BUD), FERN, CITRUS, AND A VERY LIGHT VANILLA FINISH MAKE THIS SCENT PROFILE UNLIKE ANYTHING ELSE. IT IS BRIGHT AND FINISHES WARM YOU GENUINELY HAVE TO SMELL IT TO TRULY APPRECIATE IT.

PEAKY BLINDERS: The name "Peaky Blinders" is popularly said to be derived from the practice of stitching razor blades into the peak of their flat caps, which could then be used as weapons.
However according to Professor Carl Chinn, a historian of Birmingham, this is an unrealistic scenario. Razor blades, only began to come in from the 1890s and being a luxury item, would have been far too expensive for the Peaky Blinders to have used. Chinn says that a more mundane explanation is that "peaky" was a common nickname for the popular flat cap with a peak. In an article, to supplement his claim, Chinn cites historian David Cross, of the West Midlands Police Museum in Sparkhill.
"If you think of your grandfather's cap in those days, then it would have had a very hard peak. When they hit someone or headbutted someone on the nose while wearing one, it would cause their victim temporary blindness."
‘Blinder’ was also a well used term in Birmingham, and even to some extent today, to describe one's ‘dapper’ appearance. ‘Peaky Blinders’ may have come directly as a reference to this, along with the flat cap. The gangs were known to have a distinctive clothing style, wearing peaked caps, cravats, bell-bottom trousers, and jackets whose "line of brass buttons down the front gave added distinction".
SO THIS IS THE DEFINITION WE LIKE TO DERIVE OUR INSPIRATION FROM. WELL DRESSED UK BAD BOYS OF THE 1920'S, THEY WERE NOT JUST STREET THUGS (THEY WERE NOT NICE PEOPLE PERSAE) THE HAD STYLE AND PRESENCE JUST LIKE DR.HARRIS'S ARLINGTON SCENT.
